Cotton Bowl at Fair Park

Located in Fair Park, the stadium was opened in 1930 to replace the original all wooden stadium.  The Cotton Bowl was known as the long-time home of the annual post-season college football game called the “Cotton Bowl Classic”, which recently moved to Cowboys Stadium.  It still hosts the “Red River Rivalry”,  the annual college football game between the University of Texas’ Longhorns and the University of Oklahoma’s Sooners during the annual State Fair of Texas.
