Safety
The Peak's Addition neighborhood is growing it's bond with the community to increase safety and comradery. We believe that close ties with our neighbors will only strengthen our streets and homes.
We encourage all residents to call 911 when they believe a crime is taking place, or unneighborly behavior is constantly repeated. Our voice is greater together, so for nuisances that are overlooked by the city, please contact Peak's Addition Neighborhood Association.
Here are important links for crime data in our neighborhood.

Peak's Addition
Anti-Crime Committee
Peak's Addition lies a mile East of Downtown Dallas. Our close proximity to downtown can create problematic situations that affect the safety of our neighborhood. The neighborhood crimes have ranged from property crime, traffic crime, assault, arson, hearing multiple gunshots at night, and nuisance properties. If you are interested in keeping our neighborhood safe, we encourage you to participate in the new Anti-Crime Committee.
DPD Volunteers In Patrol (VIP)
Dallas Police Department Volunteer In Patrol (VIP) groups are now operating in communities throughout the city in an effort to unite citizens and police for the common goal of preventing, reducing, and eliminating crime. VIP groups are designed to provide a means for citizens to organize into patrol groups for the purpose of being visible in their community. VIP supplements detection and reporting of suspicious persons and activities to the police department and shows a presence of law-abiding citizens patrolling the streets throughout the City of Dallas.
