Community Meeting – Monday, March 30th (Peak & Worth Zoning Discussion)

We will meet with the developer’s representative and Mayor Pro Tem Jesse Moreno regarding the proposed zoning change from single-family to multi-family at Peak and Worth. This is a significant issue, as our neighborhood has not approved a zoning change in over 35 years following past multi-family expansion and subsequent stabilization through single-family protections.

While the property is outside the overlay, planners have indicated the proposal aligns with Forward Dallas 2.0, and recent state law (SB 840) allows up to 40' heights in multi-family zones. The developer has offered a deed restriction to limit height, though questions remain about its enforceability.
