Dallas Museum of Art

One of the largest art museums in the country, DMA is locatedin the Arts District of downtown along Woodall Rodgers Freeway, between St. Paul and Harwood.  The museum houses a collection of more than 24,000 objects dating from the third millennium BC to the present day.

 
Nasher Sculpture Center

Touted as one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculpture in the world, “The Nasher” is located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, at  2001 Flora Street.  It integrates indoor galleries with outdoor gardenspaces. 

 

Crow Collection of Asian Art

This museum is dedicated to the arts and cultures of China, Japan, and Southeast Asia.  It is located in the heart of the Arts District at 2010 Flora Street.

 
Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center

One of only a few world-class concert halls in existence, “The Meyerson” is home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony Chorus, and the primary venue for the Dallas Wind Symphony.  It is located at 2301 Flora Street.

 

Winspear Opera House 

“The Winspear” is a 21st century interpretation of the traditional opera house, and is home to the Dallas Opera and the Texas Ballet Theater.  Other local and national organizations also perform at the opera house throughout the year. It is located at 2403 Flora Street.
