MZ Grocery Update
On October 9, 2007, concerned neighbors met for the second time at the State Office for Administrative Appeals to protest the renewal of the liquor license for the MZ Grocery Store, located at Carroll and Worth. Unfortunately, neighbors were not able to voice their concerns as the hearing was postponed for a second time due to TABC’s failure to file documents in a timely manner. No new hearing date has yet been set, but neighbors will be informed via the PAHA website as well as the newsletter of when the next hearing will be.
